seriously tho, people can't see the seeker as a top tune i don't know.. one of townshend & the who's very best. & the lyric really suits axl.
& DLIBYD is one of neil youngs greatest ever songs. & neil wipes the floor w/p much everyone who isn't named bob dylan.
yea, give me that everlasting classic shit ahead of actual shit like CitR or mid-level shit like IRS any day of the week.

All I'm getting at is that I'm happy for The Who and Neil Young to keep their shitty songs to themselves, and GN'R to keep GN'R songs to themselves as well.
My point is if Axl fought so fucking hard to keep the name Guns N' Roses, just play more Guns N' Fucking Roses songs, that he seems so intent on denying us the pleasure of.

Then there's people like me who couldn't care less about The Who and Neil Young. So for me, pretty much every GN'R song outside of My World is better than those two.

100% of CD and 75% of All GNR.
I mean I guess I always knew the seeker is more impressive vocally than the twat screams, the IRS scream, and it's deeper than Catcher in the Rye.
And it's obvious The Seeker shits all over AFD. That much is just a given. No point even measuring it.
As for the illusions. Seeker def trumps November Rain, Estranged, You Could be Mine, Double Talking Jive, Civil War.
Kind of embarrassing that those songs follow the seeker live sometimes. What is Axl thinking. How can you top it?
So I guess the 25% number is about right. I mean realistically the only thing that's in the same class as it is "So Fine" and MAYBE "my world" - those kick the shit out of the seeker....but the other 75% of GNR songs are just crapppppppppppppp.
Possibly the greatest post on any Guns forum, in the entire history of the internet.

Man, didn't mean to start so much shit. But if you can't see the true genius of someone like Pete Townshend or Neil Young, then I cannot help you. Guys with massive catalogs and influence that Slash/Axl/Izzy could never even dream of.

Don't get me wrong, I do like the Who, and I do like Neil Young (even if I'm not fond of those particular tracks)
I just don't need to hear GN'R playing their songs. I'd rather hear GN'R playing GN'R songs.
