They played TWAT. That's good. The rest is the usual Cash N' Grab.

the seeker's a fucking awesome tune

i can understand being pissy at the amount of covers they do but i'd gladly take it over crap like KOHD or one of the neverending jams or even crappy originals like the blues/CITR.
yea, really.

Sorry, but The Seeker sucks ass, especially when there are so many other much better songs from CD, and the GN'R back catalogue that they could be busting out instead of it.

And while they're at it, they can fuck off that shitty Neil Young cover too.

The thing I don't get, is that they clearly communicated together about playing new songs with Axl, for The Seeker to turn up in the set in the first place.
So obviously if Axl can get his shit together to learn that song, why not get it together to play some other seldom played GN'R tune instead?

There's no better songs on CD than the seeker.
DLIBYD is as great as anything GnR ever did but yea Axls voice doesn't do it justice.

I'm assuming the reasons axl plays these songs are 2fold: he identifies w/the lyrics more than he does say Perfect Crime r Garden of Eden; they're easier for him to sing than prostitute or ITW.

I really like The Seeker too, so I don't have a problem with them playing it.  I also would have no problem with them playing another CD or UYI track instead.  It's better than Riff Raff, that song I had a minor issue with.

The Seeker has also been on the "setlist" for a few years now hasn't it?  So it would seem as if they've been working on that song for some time, and it wasn't just a spur of the moment thing.

That will be the day he can no longer get what he's after.
