Re: Jesus Christ......
A piece of one of my front teeth just broke off while eating a piece of laffy taffy.:flame::headbang: This REALLY sucks. There's no way in hell I am going to work or school looking like this. I'm gonna have to make a dentist appointment this morning and pray they can get me in as soon as possible.
As you guys know, I started taking pain pills for toothaches a couple years ago. The irony is that the tooth that chipped off never gave me any problems. So after putting off going to the dentist for a coon's age I now HAVE to go for a tooth that never hurt in my life.
Fuck............

That sucks Lofton, I had one chipped during a night of too much drinking a few years back (hit my tooth with the bottle). I got it bonded and I can't even tell the difference. It's lasted with no problems so hopefully you'll have yourself in good shape in no time. If you can just convince the dentist to see you!

That really sucks. They will probably cap it.
Let us know what the dentist says. I hope it can get taken care of quickly.
Re: Jesus Christ......
Ouch. I hope they can fix it right away for you, hun.
I had a cavity filled recently that went all the way into the root. It killed like a mother bleeper when the dentist drilled, and he told me if the pain didn't go away within two weeks, I'd either need a root canal or have it pulled. He said the root canal probably wasn't the best option, as the decay is on the root. This tooth has had so many damn cavities in it and it's been filled and refilled about 8 times over my lifetime. I probably should have it pulled, but I hate the thoughts of losing one of my teeth so young. It's been a month since it's been filled (the cavity was on the side of the tooth), and it only hurts when I try to chew on it. Otherwise, it's ok.
Mind you, I brush several times a day and floss most days.

I did exactly the same thing It wasn't such a bad chip so I've just left it, it's barely noticeable unless you were examining my teeth.

Snap, I can feel it with my tongue though and it feels so much bigger than it is.
