Can't see any reason why it would be the end.
However...the tokyo gig last time was great - so lets hope for a real kickass performance like that time.

Me neither, but I'm guessing the line of thinking is that touring post CD release started in Japan, so a return there could signal something new. Again, I don't believe that, but we can all dream.

The end of CD? It's been 4 YEARS since its release(and 10 years for hardcores listening to CD songs) and there are zero signs of it ending anytime soon. Until Axl says CD II or some new album is on the horizon and the talk is backed up by immediate action and he states the obvious that CD is finally dead(its been dead four years), then I'll believe something interesting could happen within a year or two.
Until then, it's a nostalgia act plain and simple.

You must remember that Team Brazil as official management will get a cut of of the gate at all of these gigs so they'll be pushing Axl to keep going as long as possible.
