Re: The Joy Formidable

They are a pretty good indie band. Dave Grohl liked them enough that they were one of the opening acts on the last Foo tour. At times I couldn't interpret the songs; but I enjoyed their playing. I streamed most of the songs off their first album, The Big Roar and alot of them are really good and have some great riffs and melodies. I was wondering if you wanted to discuss this band and maybe check out some of their songs. big_smile Bought some of their album off of iTunes. Their new album comes out in January called Wolf's Law.

Plus..Ritzy the lead singer and guitar player has a great voice & technique... and I think she's very pretty! 20

Re: The Joy Formidable

Coming out this upcoming week is their album, Wolf's Law. Listened to the full stream and some of the music videos released for it so far. It is quite a musical accomplishment to my ears. Strong vocals, pounding percussion, soundscapes with loud orchestration and slick guitar tones. Other songs have melody or a full o The band has completely gelled with this record. Definitely picking it up the next time when it comes to shelves. Hope you guys find something to enjoy!
