darkened and widened the screen capture of Obama, presumably to play the race card? I'm not sure what to think. It could be simply a coincidence.

It looks dubious, however there's also some room for the web developer/editor to add an extra shade or two to prove his point. The ads haven't come here yet, so I'd rather judge something like this on my one, not pics someone posted onto the internet. Too much room for error. If it is true, I certainly would agree it was intentionally done, not an accident.

But I see candidates do that to white candidates too. Widening and darkening just makes someone look less trust-worthy. I don't think it's a use of the race card, just a same-old same-old attack used by a politician.

FactCheck.org has done an analysis. They've determined there's nothing to it.

Not surprised it was just a coincidence. It didn't look like that big of a deal to me.
