McCain has been declared the winner in Ohio and Vermont. He is also leading in Texas. Huckabee is virtually finished.
No winners declared yet for the democrats, but Obama has a 17% lead at the moment in Texas, and a 20% lead in Vermont. Hillary is winning in Ohio. If he wins Texas, Hillary is burnt toast. Texas is the last big prize in the primaries.

It's early, but it looks like it will be Hillary winning Ohio, but Obama winning Texas. That pretty much seals Obama's nomination. Pennsylvania is big, but not big enough to help her, plus Obama will win the primaries between now and Pa., which is Mississippi and Wyoming.
Obama also wins Vermont big, getting almost 60 percent, as he's getting in Texas now. That's huge.

Yeah she is finished. Not many votes counted yet, but where he's winning, its double digit leads. Meaning he's pretty much won but they cant declare yet because not enough votes have been counted.
I hope there's some interesting questions on the exit polls. I would like to know how bad her going negative affected her voter base. It was a huge turn off.

She won Ohio. Obama needed that. Hillary probably would have dropped out tonight had she lost Ohio. Texas is REALLY close.
Obama needed a knock out punch tonight, and he definitely didn't get it. Hillary's attacks have obviously been working. The campaign is gonna get even uglier before the Pennsylvanis primary.
McCain is the republican nominee. He clinched it tonight. The dems are going to tear each other apart in the coming weeks.
The head honchos of the democratic party need to sit Obama and Hillary down together in the same room and make one of them drop out for the sake of the party and the upcoming election.

Democrat Hillary Clinton has revived her faltering campaign for the US presidency with projected primary election wins in three states.
She has won Democratic primary polls in Texas, Ohio and Rhode Island. The results of caucus meetings in Texas are not yet known.
Rival Barack Obama took the primary poll in the state of Vermont.
Meanwhile, John McCain has won the Republican nomination with projected wins in the four states.
His closest rival, Mike Huckabee, has dropped out of the race and pledged to support Mr McCain's candidacy.
Mr McCain's victories in all four states take him over the threshold of 1,191 delegates needed to claim the candidacy at the party's national convention in September.

Enjoy the fight till the bitter end democrats. The GOP will be united ready to win Ohio in November and win the general election. I have to say, no one can bungle a sure thing like the DNC.

He's currently winning the caucus by 10%, which would give him a 6 delegate lead in the caucus and a 5 delegate lead overall including the primary.
I caucused tonight by the way. It went 27-12 for Obama.

The dems seriously need to get together and have one of the two drop out, preferably Hillary. Obama will destroy McCain in the general election, and the dems have to realize that.
Knock Hillary out of the equation ASAP.

I dunno, I think Hillary might win this thing. She's won Texas, Ohio, NY, which are all key states to win in the general election. PA is going to be close, but she does have the endorsement of our Governor, and Philadelphia's Mayor (Who is black). Obama is left out in the cold & will need some big endorsements in PA. Our former mayor, who was black, would support Obama, but he wasn't very well liked here among many people, so that endrosement could actually hurt Obama. After him, it'd just a bunch of state legistlators that he could get endorsements from. Still, I think Obama will do good here, alot also depends on the Unions endorsements. One other thing he has going is it is 6 weeks away. So he has planty of time to rest & rethink. He's seemed really tired recently, and hasn't been giving the same type of speeches he had in the past. I hope he comes downtown on a weekend, I'd like to go see him.
