One party that will benefit is Guns.
This does nothing to change their old image, hell, it even reminds people of the time Guns were "the most dangerous band on Earth". That was hyperbole even then, but a little controversy (without directly involving Ax) stirs it up leading to the shows.

You really think that's an apt comparison?
Let's see, what has occurred in the real world or is more likely to occur in the real world? A black man being lynched, or a robot in a trench coat standing over a woman with her panties down while a monster with multiple hands and a row of knives attached to it flies over a fence?

Nothing to do with symbolism, D. It has to do with trying to make a poor analogy between some scene that could never, ever happen in the real world and something that has happened many times historically, and could still happen, and the appropriateness or lack thereof.
