"Rock and Roll (Part 2)" used to be the song they'd play after every New England Patriots touchdown at home games.  That all stopped when the scandal broke.  Probably a good idea.  Now they play the predictable "This Is Our House" or whatever the hell that song is by Bon Jovi.  Jon is good friends with Belichick, and Bob Kraft, so it makes sense.  Not a big fan of the song though.

Power corrupts, and sometimes it even makes you a pedophile, apparently.

With all these old geezers getting their shirts lifted we'll soon see 6 degree games being played where the goal is to connect two pedo celebrities.

He's probably guilty, but at the same time he's a bit of a target now, don't 'ya think?

The spotlight will be on him forever, and there is a bit of guilty until proven innocent.

I'm not defending him, just making a comment on it.

For me it's more of a general thing with all these celebrities/power people living pathetic and disgusting fraud lives. Imagine going back to the early 80s and telling people one of the biggest childrens programming hosts is a pedo, John Travolta is a fag and Kirk Douglas a rapist.

I don't know any such people (at least as far as I know). So why are so many of them in prominent positions? Oh right, just make sure you're working for a big organization before you do your crimes and they'll cover it up to protect their reputation. They ain't fools, these perverts.

In John Travolta's defense, I'm pretty certain he's far from the only one in Hollywood who MAY be living a closeted life.

If they were gonna play any song by Jovi because he's friends with Belichick, then why not Bounce? It was written about Belichick and at least that's a good song.

Is that right?  I was not aware of that.  The song, "This Is Our House" makes sense going by the lyrics but I just think it's kind of a tame/lame celebration song.  That song does get played in a lot of stadiums though, due to the lyrical content.

I agree, and I think alot of people including the gay community forget that alot of these baby boomer-era people whether actors, musicians, or regular people still have family that frown on homosexuality and still see it as an abomination of God, or whatever their belief of it is.

Look at Brad Pitt's mother. Pitt holds the status he holds, and yet his mother was given a platform in her local paper to voice her political stances. And she gave a throwback, Obama fearing, Obama a violation of God, because he supports same-sex marriage.

I don't know what Travolta's background is, but there are still other family members that have to deal with this stuff in their everyday lives. What if Brad Pitt came out as gay? His mother would have to deal with the fallout in her own church for an admission like that. His mother already had to deal with Pitt's comments being pro-same sex marriage, which is why she took to the paper to defend her stance to begin with.

Like you said, i'm sure there are LOTS of people in Hollywood today, male and female in that age range, that still come from a period that coming out is still a VERY big deal and something they still aren't comfortable with, even in 2012.
