Dont get this guys popularity, how'd he pull it off?
he started on the Mickey Mouse club, was in one of the biggest boy bands of all time, dated the biggest fluff pop star of the last 20 years for quite a while, had two very successful solo albums with some good tunes on it for it' genre whether Gn'R fans want to acknowledge that or not, women and no doubt certain men find him to be quite attractive, he can dance, he can sing, he's fairly talented as an actor, he's a hilarious host and guest on SNL and comes off as a genuinely good guy.
That's how. Not defending him just saying how he managed to get popular isn't really a mystery.
Now let's talk why a guy like Lil Wayne is popular. That's a mystery.

Why is he a donkey? What is it he's ever really done to be considerd a donkey? Bang hot chicks? Is it simply because you don't like his music? Because the guy isn't a typical hollywood douche or least he doesn't come off as one. To be honest I think he'd be a pretty cool guy to hang out with. Just being honest here but how typical that a person on a Gn'R site would call Justin Timberlake a donkey for no apparent reason.

I don't like Justin's music; but I respect what the guy does in terms of entertainment and putting himself out there. He is quite successful and is hilarious when he shows up on SNL and does songs with the Lonely Island. I agree with most of you guys' comments.
