Re: US Presidential Debates
1. I think he is a socialist. 2. I don't think he was actually born in the US 3. I think he is a racist.
Everything about him is just not kosher.....he may even be the anti-christ.
all jokes aside, his whole agenda reeks of class warfare and if re-elected, that rhetoric will be amped up to infinity as he tries to make his lasting mark on US and World history.

And people have no idea what will happen if he succeeds...
Re: US Presidential Debates
Obama is the worst socilaist in the history of socialism. Go ask a real socialist.
And how it's class warfare when you want tax rates to go back to how they were when we were the most prosperous is beyond me.
When you have actual real millionaires and billionaires saying the tax system is rigged to favor them and isn't fair, I don't consider that class warfare.
ID, Not so fast my friend! Obama has NOTHING to run on. No record of achievement. None. Zero. Outside of the fact that he got Bin Laden, the rest of his presidency is shit.... literally shit. He is a used car salesman at his best. I don't like Romney either, but he knows how to make money and run a business...which is what the US is. Considering my wife and I both work for Fortune 500 companies, the economy means quite a bit to me. I am middle class so please don't lump me in with the 1% crowd.
I honestly fear a huge, huge drop in the stock market and value of the dollar should Obama win. If you think corporations are hoarding cash now, just wait and see what happens by the end of the year. Obama is a socialist through and through. Once he has a guaranteed 4 years with no future election on the horizon, he is going to go hog wild.
As for the debate, I was happy that both sides were cordial and respectful of each other.
The stock market is up 100% since he took office. He has a net jobs creation. The economy, is in fact, getting better. Housing is getting better. The war in Iraq is over. He has a lot he is running on.
All these conspiracies about what he was going to do once in office have been proven to be paranoid bullshit, just like all the predictions of what he's going to do in his second term... Whatever it is they think he's going to do.
I can go a little further myself in the paranoid thinking: if you think job creation is low now, wait until Romney is elected and those companies get bigger tax cuts and fewer regulations and watch how fast more jobs are outsourced. Americans are paid too much, according to your employers. No unions, no regulations, you're in trouble.
Favoring higher tax rates for the wealthy than for the less fortunate isn’t socialism, and if it is, then the U.S. has been a socialist country for nearly a century, under both Democrats and Republicans. The sad thing is, and no offense, but when you state things like that, the very people promoting the idea that Obama is a socialist, not American, etc... They're laughing at you for buying it.
And hoarding really started big time under Bush, not Obama.
Look where corporate cash hoarding starts ticking up, around the 90s and really hits in 2000. That doesn't have anything to do with Obama, or with whoever else is (re)elected. It's been steadily rising for years. And the real reason they're not getting off of the cash:
""Companies slashed their work forces and now find that they could function far more resourcefully than they ever realized possible," Bianco said. "If anything, we could start to see some of the money being used to expand overseas or to acquire other companies. In either case, that does not bode well for job creation. In fact, mergers lead to job reductions unfortunately.""
David Bianco, head of U.S. equity strategy at Bank of America. Not Obama, they can just increase profits by shitting on you and everyone else in this country. How does this help you? And you guys want to elect one of them to run things. A guy who only knows how to maximize profits for a select group of people. Someone who doesn't mind outsourcing, or putting people out of work. Whose ideology is based in making money for business (and this disregarding the fact he is a liar, a flip flopper and will say anything he has to so he can get elected, one of the many reasons everyone in the Republican party hates him). You and your family do not matter to them. Period. Everything is constructed to help the 1%, not you.
Re: US Presidential Debates
I find that interesting too, because the one you think is looking out for you isn't looking out for you nearly as much as he wants you to think he is. Well, maybe in the short term, but certainly not in the long term.
Since when did you start pretending to actually call stuff down the middle?
Just say it man, what's with all the mystery? You've made your opinions pretty clear here, many times.

I think you make a great point that I tried to make in another thread. Companies are hoarding cash because of fear and uncertainty. It's all about survival for them. They aren't going to spend that cash until they feel safe doing so.
Then they should be nationalized and charged as criminals of the state.
No more pussyfooting with these guys and holding this country hostage. They may create the wealth, but the government and the American people ALLOW them to. Not the other way around.
All of these corporations don't turn down tax breaks and government incentives and goverment and tax payer funded bail outs...
Suddenly they hoard the cash because of "fear".
But Buzz you and others with that opinion are missing the point... this is not fear of surival. This is fear of LOST PROFIT. They won't die, and they know it. They just don't want to drop from making $4 billion to $3 billion.
So don't pretend like Obama's big bad policies are gonna make them starve. Please.
There is no bad economy. It is one of the biggest scam lies perpetrated on the U.S. in history. The economy has never been better. Big oil has never made more money. We are exporting more oil than importing for the first time in 60 years. We are energy dependent. A very SMALL percentage of our paper is held by China.
Big business is reaping more profit than they ever had, and hoarding the money because they want to keep making the profit they are.
If Obama is such a socialist, he sucks at it. Because he babies these fucking businessmen more than the damn Republicans do. He also handed them more bailouts than Bush did.
I'd put a gun in their goddamn face so fast.
Axlin: "I want you start renegotiating these loans, and use the money I GAVE YOU to help the process"
Banker: "No, this is a time of uncertainty, and i'm gonna hoard the money and wait and see where the market goes"
Axlin: "Okay, you're nationalized. Your bank is now our bank"
Banker: "You can't do that!"
Axlin: "I gave you money as an incentive to help these people and you ROBBED the U.S. government and the tax payers of that money. So now you're nationalized"
Banker: "I won't let you!"
Axlin: *BANG*
Anybody else got any questions? Anybody want to do what ACTUAL REPUBLICANS DO, and lend some goddamn money?
Trust me, there would be a line out my damn door of bankers ready to lend.

I really hope this is a joke post. I mean I really hope this a joke post.
I mean I love you enough to realize that we all kinda have goofy opinions (like my Facebook bullshit), but seriously?
Your redneck is showing through man. Real bad.
1. There's nothing wrong with socialism.
Plenty of countries have far better aspects of their goverment, because of socialism and not democracy. We already have TONS of socialism scattered throughout the goverment. Medicare is one of the most successful, loved programs in the history of America, and it's pure socialism.
Many other countries scattered throughout the world have socialized health care that absolutely CRUSH America's.
2. Nobody cares Obama wasn't born in America. Seriously it's 4 fucking years later. Let - it - go.
3. Racism?
Now I know you're doing a piss take. Racism of what?
So if you're joking (hope to Christ), but to all of those redneck GOP retards I know here in the South that couldn't spell U.S.A. if you spotted them the U and the A... most of you (not saying Sky Dog) have no clue what socialism is, and the success rate of it, nor how much of it already exists in the government. The U.S. government had one of the biggest socialist expansions in history under George W. Bush & Ronald Reagan.
Re: US Presidential Debates
That's a great point that many people overlook, corporate profits have never been higher. They're not afraid of going broke but anything cutting into their profits AT ALL. They want to get rid of government programs, even some that have no effect whatsoever on the deficit, all to justify lower taxes to create even more profits. The deficit is the greatest red herring in the history of American politics.
Re: US Presidential Debates
Sure wish Gary Johnson got in this debate
I think Perot brought a lot to the debates in the 90s. Even though I think he's batshit crazy and would have destroyed the country for a myriad of reasons
You ever hear of Buddy Roemer?
Republicans refused to even let him in the primary debates.
I really like him. Old site:
