Could be:
1. The gears starting to turn on Chinese 2.
2. Axl announcing he's retiring after vegas. (hey they did sell all their gear)
3. That his vegas contract required him to pimp it out a little.
4. Axl just wanted to do an interview to be cool to us.

of course he'll ask about a new album. i doubt axl'll will give a specific response. more like a vague, working-on-it-lies or after-these-shows-take-stock-BS, generic avoidance answer.

I'm guessing not 4. Probably not 1 unless Chinese 2 is a remix album or something like that. I hope it's not 2, so I guess I'll go with 3.

No new look. No new album. No new songs. Limited "new" band promo.
My $ is entirely on promoting Vegas and Neil Young.
Does this place support sig lines? Mine should be "As always, I'd be happy to be wrong."

It would be, but I think this is more to promote the upcoming Vegas shows and the Neil Young benefit. It also should be a good way to promote the new lineup, as I'd assume they'll touch on that. I wonder if they'll perform as well. That'd be nice.
It can't be to promote the Bridge School Benefit as those shows are the weekend before the appearance.
