Bands like Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin have gone through this many times. Fuck the lawyers, head to the guy's house, and try to talk to them. It's probably even crazier with the stuff you mentioned since those people discuss negotiations through paper work, contracts if they are that huge in the business.
