Watched some of the Sydney gig - its fucking massive! How many were at this gig?

It was the same venue Guns N Roses first played back in 1988, the venue holds around 10,000 people, and I'd say it was about 3/4 full.
The standing section on the floor was the most packed of any gig I've seen there.

Great to see Slash get this kind of response.
This should mean VR won't be back anytime soon and that's a pity. Those guys seem to thrive on being backs against the wall and coming out the gate with a new frontman could have been that way.
Wonder will they ever let their Corey opus out without Slash if he stays gone?

Would you believe that I actually had the wife agree to let me have Saul as the second name if it was a boy! But it was a girl.
We now have a pidgeon pair so that's probably it, so I missed out on getting any GNR names in.

These are bigger gigs than VR ever played.
In fact, while Slash has upgraded to bigger venues with each new tour, VR downgraded to smaller venues from their initial first tour here in 2005, to the scrapped tour in 2008.
I don't see Slash going back to VR any time soon.

What a Killer show just got home from 750km round trip and it was worth the effort. Mind blowning had a couple pipes just before we got there. We went to a pub for tea about 2 blocks away from the venue. Left the pub at about 7.30 and had a few more pipes got there and thier was a massive line buy the time we got in the first band had only a few song to go it was sold out last time i went there to see Vr there was about half the amount of people there.Got a seat this time never sat in a seat before at a show it was pretty good i was surprised how good they still sounded from the back there.To Be Conti.....
