yeah my parents listened to old 60-70's country stuff and 50's-60's pop ... so my brothers and i had to find our own good tunes people lthink its weird that i dont have much of a background in 60's & 70's rock (jimi, sabbath, zeppelin, doors etc etc....) but all i had and knew was what was on the radio growing up so i got stuck with cutting my teeth on Dokken and firehouse and warrant and poison, gnr, tesla, def leppard, ozzy and shit like that...later on it was metallica and megadeth, then grunge hit

Believe it or not (I still don't), wiki says Hazy Shade of Winter was #2 in the US for The Bangles.

I am a pretty big S&G fan, but this version is better than the original (imo).

Growing up in the 80's I got into Aerosmith when "Pump" came out, then had to go back to their older stuff. Well, this one isn't much older but I've always enjoyed this track off of "Permanent Vacation".

I also enjoyed "Amsterdam" from Van Halen, although it was released as a single and did enjoy some moderate success. I never realized they made a video for it though, since MTV refused to air it.

Awesome Van Halen song! I've only heard a few verses from this song when they would use it on VH docs or other videos. Everyone is on fire in the song even though the music video itself is all over the place.:haha:
