Is that correct?
They're just going for Stafford + Johnson = Touchdown
oh ok haha, I looked up the Lions roster and the punter was the one with the #6
Re: 2012 NFL Season
Add this one:
Ryan Matthews has a broken clavicle and is out 4-6 weeks. This one is important for fantasy purposes.
Also, GB linebacker Desmond Bishop suffered a knee injury that looked pretty serious.
I ended up watching a little of GB-SD but ended up falling asleep after a quarter or so. Game had a lot of turnovers.
Re: 2012 NFL Season
Cedric Benson should be getting a phone call. I trust him a lot more than Mathews, anyway.
Benson did get a phone call, but from the Packers.
Patriots LB Dane Fletcher tore his ACL in the pre season opener and will miss the season. He's not a star by any means, but he's a solid player and the loss will hurt the depth at the LB position.
Re: 2012 NFL Season
Today's NFL Preseason Headlines:
Vick got hurt
Manning did fine
Bears got creamed (Thats for you Buzz!)
Rodgers struggled
Not worried about any of this. It's the preseason and most of the stars were resting instead of playing in the crappy weather.
Re: 2012 NFL Season
Results mean absolutely nothing in pre-season. Obviously you would like to see some improvement from game to game. If you're 0-4 and haven't shown much of a pulse there may be reason to worry. But for the most part, you can throw the records out once the regular season begins. You want to avoid catastrophic injuries during the pre-season. That's where it all begins.
