big bands defo need to do more of that silly beatles-esque press conference. they're almost always gold & show a funny side of the band we don't often get to see otherwise.
like, specifically, axl. he almost always comes across as a fun guy in interviews, but he hate's them. well, in fairness, you can count on mick wall etc. to paint it black, as it were, but i'd say when he's got the support of his bandmates or baz he's a fun guy. & under those circumstances maybe he would open up (& if it was a decent journalist they'd eventually ask the interesting/follow-up questions).
my point is, the press isn't all bad & can be put to good use.
(does axl really believe "there's no such thing as bad publicity"? i think it's more he's generalised & demonised the press as out to get him & he doesn't need them enough to warrant dealing w/them.)

No. It leaves me fucking angry to be honest. So angry about something that we all know is none of my business that I'll just shut the fuck up.
Suffice to say:
Jarmo minimising Ron's condition and somehow equating it with routine injuries suffered by crew members is the most horseshit thing I've read in the history of GNR and god love it it we all know there's been some serious horseshit go down when you consider everything GNR related since 1986 or whatever.
Why must everything in GNR have this strange stepford wives view of reality...seriously...If people knew the psychological impacts of something like Bumble has if they only knew....seriously there's got to be some bad kama for some of these folks....I wish they had it for a fucking day just one fucking day and they'd understand what it's like to live a life of that shit ron goes through.
I'm not going to read that thread anymore. GNR has always been one of my favourite bands and I've always supported them regardless...but that sickens me down to the pits of my soul. Enough said.

If people,feel that Ron shouldn't vent publically then jokers like Fernando and Jarmo should definitely shut their fucken pie holes!
