Hopefully this isn't the case and things work out for the better with Bumble!

I thought he was just thanking the fans who went and seen them on tour

He didn't say that in the audio it posted on twitter. It was basicly "Hi, the tour is over, thank you all, will never forget you, goodbye"

Nothing about leaving the band.

He sounded exhausted and beat! ..but yeah I know it wasn't a I'm quitting the band sort of vibe. Now he can finally get the rest he needs!

Once again everyone used to tease us with $la$h and id always tell people to be careful cause when axl gets active u are gonna eat those words. Bon appet`ite

I'm guilty.

But for now, I'm only taking a small bite outta those words. smile

There is a huge leap between Slash and Axl when it comes to the way they go about their business.

I'm no expert when it comes to organizing huge tours. But it seems that sponsorship is an industry norm these days and have been for some years. The private shows I believe they could do without.

I remember slash getting shit for the rockstar energy drink thing and now Axl had a can on the piano during November Rain.

Monkey, Bucket contributed the most POP-oriented, traditionally structured music of all the members of the group: Shackler's, Scraped and Sorry. There was nothing experimental, or Primus about what he contrinuted to GN'R.

I dunno..I see it sort of different to you I think....Shackler's is a song I like but mostly for the vocals/lyrics...the obvious bucket bit about it is what I think a chat user described once as the "elephant noise" at the start...and that's what alienates most listeners.

Sorry is the song I like least on the album, but i'll give you it's tradtional, nice blues solo...but other than that doesn't do much for me, Scrapped I like...don't mean to be pissing on him...but to me his major roll is adding stuff like the ending of Riad (cool as fuck but not a song in itself) and stuff like the tapping run in better.....

I love Ron...but I think Ron was brought in to replace bucket and neither of them have a style that's intrinsically compatible with old GNR. Ron worked hard to make himself fit...eg adding the sleaze lines into the title track and so on..but in general...if you want a new GNR album with songs like anything on AFD or UYI ...I don't think bucket's really the guy....I love sooth sayer but where do the vocals go? Most rock type riff he has that i've heard is something like jowls...or scapula...but even then...it's more off the wall than AFDish....

Bucket brings respect cos dudes like me know we'll never be able to play as fast...but in terms of writing...he's not the guy...15 albums a year but it's all advant guarde...not november rain.

umm, on a lot of Bucket's albums he's not playing fast. Or Avant Garde.

And that GN'R just doesn't exist anymore and hasn't for 20 years. The AFDish sound was gone after AFD and after the last AFD session song was released on UYI. It's done, over. Axl isn't trying to duplicate it. This is who Axl is now. Slash doesn't even make that music anymore and good for him for not even trying to recapture that.

I really don't care if anyone likes the songs or not, or thinks they're shit, Shacklers was a much more radio friendly song than anything on CD. And, imo, I like what Bucket contributed.

Looks like some loser over there just wanted to use the recent speculation to start a rumor. I don't see Ron saying anything that implies he is quitting.

My problem is with little things. Opening with You're Crazy.... playing almost a whole show with Izzy.... often playing acoustic.... so on and so forth. These things happen at these Million Dollar Shows but not ever for real Guns N' Roses fans at shows on the tour?

Exactly!!!!

The FANS deserve that type of shit, not some million dollar private gig bullshit

You get what you pay for.

I didn't go thru this thread, but;

If it's anything like finishing and album or releasing a book.

You're so fucking bored of it. Bored of the pictures, bored of the text, bored of your own writing. You could care fucking less. Getting it out is just an anti climax because you're so fed up with it all you just don't wanna see it. I spoke to an author friend in England a few weekend ago and he never even read thru his own stuff.

But then for some reason, you wanna go thru it all again.

Repeat cycle.

I think that's what Ron is feeling.
