They didn't ask him about the pink elephant in the room, but asked about anything that doesn't matter and never did. I'm bloody sure that the camp requested the 'no album question' treatment.
BTW I've just read a Dizzy Reed interview. Try to translate it to you, but I think it'll be via google, then I'll try to correct it. That's not promising either. But he does talk about the 'album'.
That's quite an assumption to make when all other members seem to bring up the future of GNR (in very vague terms mind you) in various interviews. Maybe the interviewer, who let's face it, didn't seem like a top of the food chain journalist, didn't ask the questions you were interested in hearing answers to. Wouldn't be the first time.

It was not an interview per se, it was a brief talk for the endorser, ESP, who now has a Tommy Stinson bass!
It was MARKETING, not an interview.
Right. The focus of the "talk" was not on the future of GNR and I doubt that had to do with the demands of Tommy or anything like that.
