Re: INXS’ ‘Kick’ Expanded 3CD/1DVD 25th Reissue
Kick was the first album I ever bought.
My sister had a crush on hutchence and I wanted to see what all the fuss was about.
Picked up the vinyl-australian-tour-edition that had an expanded sleeve when I was 10 years old.

Saw INXS on Sunday night with their new singer, and I was quite impressed. He's no Michael Hutchence, but he hit all the right notes, and the band was tight as hell, for a bunch of old fellas!
They played some new songs which sounded pretty good too.

Yeah...I remember that - the show was called "Rockstar: Inxs" and then the second season was "Rockstar: Supernova" and had Gilby Clarke and Tommy Lee.
I watched them all pretty avidly. As for the inxs one...JD fortune that won...he was a huge tool personality wise....but he seemed to really fit with the band musically..the album they did with him switch was pretty decent for that style...didn't sound too different from the old stuff. Although live no-one has any of michael's stage presence...saw inxs live like 6 times as a kid and hutchence really was on another level.
These days I'm less into that sort of stuff though...I like heavier guitars....
As for supernova...was also an annoying result...the guy from melbourne in that was way better than the dude who won too.
