Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaahhhhhh
Shut up fool!
Re: The PINK FLOYD Thread
Started getting into them a few years ago and absolutely changed my life.
Vera into Bring The Boys back home and Brain Damage into Eclipse both just amazing. Agree on Comfortably Numb... First got into it, right after my Dad died, and although I know the song is prob about heroin or something else entirely, it reminds me of my Dad and makes me cry when i hear it.

Re: The PINK FLOYD Thread
RIP SYD! SHINE ON YOU CRAZY DIAMOND!!! Made some great music and a true visionary that helped start one of the greatest bands of all time and influenced so many artists. Flaming, Arnold Layne, See Emily Play, Octopus, Bike, Candy and a Current, JUGBAND BLUES, the rest of Piper and his solo works are true staples of art. Thanks for the tunes my good sir! Passed away way too young!

great interview with Waters...discusses the Floyd breakup...familar issues!
"It became more and more like trying to wade through treacle, as is well known. We were increasingly at odds because we had different aspirations. Up until “The Dark Side of the Moon,” I think our thoughts and feelings were pretty concurrent: We wanted to become rich and famous and we worked together as a pretty close-knit team to that end, but once that end had been achieved, then there were other things that started to become important, certainly to me, and it became increasingly difficult to have to argue about stuff."
too much success changes everything...now imagine Gnr with the monumental success right out of the gate....Dark was Floyd's AFD and UYI was Gnr's The Wall....:/
