Re: The Beach Boys celebrate 50 years with new single
It was ok! I read the comments and one of it said it was no Kokomo and they were right; but hey the vocals were great. Hopefully the other songs are better.

That's cool. : D They really have nothing to prove to me with a new album if they continue to put on these kind of shows featuring numerous songs and their are friendly vibes among-st the band.

Same here! That's the best attitude to have with bands like them now. One person I want to see live one day is Sir Paul McCartney. I would be singing along to the whole set even though the tickets would be expensive. xD

Beach Boys Set For Biggest Debut Ever
by Paul Cashmere on June 7, 2012
Fifty years in and the Beach Boys may be heading for the biggest debut of their career.
The boys of summer’s new album, That’s Why God Made the Radio, is predicted to sell between 60,000 and 65,000 copies when its first week of release is over this Sunday. Billboard is reporting that, if that number holds, it could be the band’s first top ten album in 36 years, since 1976′s 15 Big Ones, and will be the highest debut for any of their albums.
Over the years, the Beach Boys have planted many albums in the top ten including ten studio sets, three hits compilations and one live album:
Surfin’ USA (1963/#2)
Surfer Girl (1963/#7)
Little Deuce Coupe (1963/#4)
All Summer Long (1964/#4)
Beach Boys Concert (1964/#1) (Live album)
Christmas Album (1964/#6)
The Beach Boys Today! (1965/#4)
Summer Days (and Summer Nights!!) (1965/#2)
Beach Boys Party! (1965/#6)
Pet Sounds (1966/#10)
Best of the Beach Boys (1966/#8) (Compilation)
Endless Summer (1974/#1) (Compilation)
Spirit of America (1975/#7) (Compilation)
15 Big Ones (1976/#8)
In addition, a top ten debut next week would extend their top ten albums run from the current 13 years to an amazing 49 years.
It is also expected, per Billboard, that Adele’s 21 will recapture the number 1 spot for a non-consecutive 24th week, the longest any album has been at the top since Prince’s 1984 album Purple Rain. Sales are projected in the 70,000 range while Alan Jackson’s new album, 30 Miles West, is expected to have sales of 60,000 to 70,000.

Have an awesome time rocking out and hearing those Good Vibrations my friend! From what I've heard the concerts have been getting great reviews and they are performing a ton of tracks which is really cool. I heard the album is good too.
