I still don't get the gaga thing.  Overrated is insulted when she's described as overrated.  She is the posterchild for everything that is wrong with music today.

She is an absolute hack. She says all she's interested in his the muisc yet shes done everything in her power to deflect attention away from her music and focus it on how big a  freak show she can be. Her song Born this way sounds identical to Express Yourself. She's been ripping off Madonna since day one. Lady Gaga is awful. Her music sounds incredibly dated mere months after it's released. She clearly has an elitist complex depsite her "let's all just love each other" gimmick. Watch her interviews she buys into her own hype and she considers herself an icon. She's terrible in my opinion.

I know some people can't stand Katy Perry but watch 15 years from now Katy Perry's songs will easily outlast Lady Gaga's in the pop genre.  Gaga may have billions of little monsters but her schtick is old and tired.

Having said all this Madonna is a joke these days. Maybe her album is good I don't know but Madonna doing strip teases and flashing her tits during concerts at 53 years of age. Pathetic.

Lady Gaga Completes Third Album

by Paul Cashmere on June 10, 2012

Lady Gaga will announce her third album title in September.

The album is finished and Gaga has tweeted that she has handed it over to her label. “Exciting news little monsters! I’ve played my new record for my label and will be announcing my new Album Title in September! X,” she wrote.

The unnamed album will be closely watched by fans who contributed to double platinum sales in the USA and Australia and platinum in the USA, well short on sales of the first album ‘The Fame’ and its morphed version ‘The Fame Monster’.

Lady Gaga has kept her profile up in recent weeks with an appearance on the final episode of the season for The Simpsons and a cameo as an alien in ‘Men In Black 3’.

Wah! Get over it Lady Gaga. The songs sound exactly the same. You fooled no one. I bet that speech went over greatly with her Little Monsters. But the "woe is me" act is growing tired. She sells millions more records than Madonna these days, so why care what she says about her. Stop being so sensitive.

GaGa doesn't want to be negative.

So i'll do it for her.

Madonna -- you're a WHORE. Shut your fucking mouth with your bargain bin drink coaster album. You're over. You played the SUPER BOWL, you aligned yourself with one of the bigger artist out there on your main album single, and you still couldn't move units if you were giving away free blow jobs with it. GaGa is now. And in a few years it'll be someone else. There's no reason to be jealous that you sat your skank ass at home and GaGa took your abandoned torch, ran with it, and does it just as good as you and is actually a better singer, and better instrumentalist.

Hack? Yes. More talented. Yes.

And in a few years, someone else will come along. Either way Madonna needs to LET IT GO.

Axlin, hit the nail on the head! Madonna just needs to retire in her mansion with her swimming pool of money and fuck off.  Her comments were not only childish; but were about as elaborate as a rant from a Youtube comment. 14 Let other artists shine. At least Gaga is trying to branch out with new music concepts; so pop music today isn't just repetitive beats and cheesy lyrics. As for me, It would have to be a mix of the first two albums. Some songs I love to listen to while others are so so. Songs I like to listen to with close friends or with my family.  I'm not a big fan of her work. Born This Way has a few good songs; but I just can't get into it except for Edge of Glory. Me and my friend love her keytar though! cool

I for one am very curious to hear what she's got next. Born This Way is not a bad album and in many ways it is better than The Fame but in no way better than The Fame Monster. This next record needs to be ambitious and accessible at the same time. That's a tall order for any artist, let alone one that's reached such heights so quickly.

The Fame was her "album". I think about half of The Fame Monster was amazing. The other half was horrible.

Born This Way had several great songs, and some filler. Some of her iTunes bonus tracks were better singles than her actual singles.

GaGa is still very much in her prime, and I look forward to her next album.

My personal wish is that she trims down the amount of songs she does, and takes more time with them. I think she needs to drop iTunes bonuses, except for covers. And the next album should not be any longer than 11 tracks, tops.

I think if she trims the fat, should could produce another pop-considered "masterpiece". She is THAT good imo.

She is so talented, I would like to hear her do more Freddie ballads, that's just her and a piano doing vocal gymnastics. That Edge of Glory-acoustic version she did on The Howard Stern Show was better than the officially released version.

Yeah, I'm not a big fan, but that performance was fantastic.  They play songs, usually from in studio performances to start the Stern Show everyday and I usually skip right past them.  But when that one comes on, I listen to it all the way through, every time.  I also loved her live performances of "You And I" before she made it all poppy.  Plus her SNL performance on the piano.  That is by far, when she's at her best.  Unfortunately her "people" don't think that's what the public wants.  Maybe they're right, but it's certainly what I would prefer.  Without question.

The thing is, I do believe like she thinks... she's a rocker in her heart.

But the label pushes her as a pop icon, which is all wrong imo. But they're looking to sell records.

I still think she was the best option to front Queen in 2012. And i'm not a big fan of female singers replacing men, in all male bands.
