Well I think it's cool if bands do this more often. Just think they should authenticate it. they'd get way more money for it if they did and it's cooler for fans to have it when it's got a certificate of authenticity.

Pretty sure an Axl microphone with the certificate of authenticity would fetch a pretty penny.

Scott Ian from Anthrax auctioned a load of stuff off recently, including some old 80's Addidas hi-tops, used on tour in the 80's !  Who'd want those?

And I think Megadeth (Dave) auctioned off a ton of stuff when he damaged his hand and was thinking bout jacking it all in. And I think they do private auctions for the fan club.

I think its cool when bands do this in general, and even better if its for a good cause. Marty Friedman auctioned off some guitars for the Japan quake fund, which was cool.

You'll be shocked at how much people will pay for something that has been worn or used/owned by any "celebrity."  On another site I frequent, some dude said he bought a pair socks on ebay that used to belong to the former Green Bay Packers coach, Lindy Infante.

See, thats just weird to me, shoes, socks, any type of clothing that has been worn and sweated in. Not for me!

I do like the GnR flight cases though, and if I had a garage and stuff to pack away and if I had the time and money AND if lived in the US to ship or collect, I would probably bid on one or two of them.  That's a lot of if's, so I'm not bidding. smile

You're probably right Russ, its just he's set himself up as Axl's shit filter so I'm just interested in the guy's profile.

I could understand if you were a housemaid and you got a chance to manage one of the biggest rock stars in the world - that's a big job.

But I'm keen to know what he left behind to become what he is....and saying that...what is he? Webmaster? Media Consultant?

Yeah, I totally get the curiosity and my own mind has wondered that way from time to time. All I've ever seen is his "I work with computers" answer which is all I need to know I guess.

My sources tell me "Executive Vice President of the National Socialist Movement of Sweden" was his job before the GN'R thing.

I'd love to own some of Mother Goose's keyboard parts! If they have some GNR hats in stock like the cool one Frank was wearing during some of the recent tours, that would be awesome to purchase!

One of those would probably make a cool tool chest in a garage. Throw up an AFD era poster on the wall behind it.

Yeah if you lived nearby so you didn't have to worry about shipping costs it would be pretty cool to pick on up.  Use it as a chest or a funky coffee table etc.
