Mysteron wasn't just a kid who made shit up.
He was something else than that.
Saying so reminds me of teenagers on youtube claiming everything they see as "fake and gay".
He didn't get it straight all the time, but to call him a joke is beyond stupid.
The guy over played his hand more than a few times and was eventually called out for trying to make himself out to be more than he was. I could see how some people would think that made him look like a joke.
So he did, but it didn't make him a kid with too much time on his hands.
Re: Remember when...
This is one of the best one's. I loved how she got called out on this shit so badly and played it off as though she as doing the noble thing by not saying anything. I wonder what ever happend to her. MYGNR was like her life.
I've wondered that from time to time myself. I mean for years and years she was a big figure head in the internet community.
But after what happened (which was FUCKING GLORIOUS, I don't care what anyone says), when the frontman of the fucking band you've followed all those years basically calls you out, cuts the biggest fucking internet promo in the history of these boards, then hits the stunner... you're done.
I'm sure she's still around under an assumed name... my guess is Ali.

Here are some of the cheese picks I remember:
-The kid who walked by Universal HQ and apparently heard CD songs being played through a window. Recorded a few seconds of The Blues on his legendary crappy cell phone, a clip which of course was scrutinized for months on HTGTH back in 05.
I most definitely remember this one.
And I think it was true. he even came back to htgth when the album was released to do the 'told you so' cause he described Madagascar with 'all rasp' and everybody was like 'but Axl sings it clean live, fake'.

The guy never had anything of value to shre, he spoke cryptically, he said shit that anyone of us could've said and a huge amount of the time stuff he said never came to pass and if it did it wasn't anything of significance. He acted like a big time insider and he clearly wasn't. He was a joke.

that is hilarious. I could totally see that. Madsion would have to create a character otherwise people would figure it out and if you ask me I've never seen anyone post in character the way Ali does. It's like the agenda, the style, the personality has been created soley for coming online and defedning Axl Rose at all costs. I'd think Madison would ahve an axe to grind so the disguise is perfect

He knew Merck...he admitted that recently. Stuff he said was likely accurate but when dealing with the Red Head...pretty obvious that things could and did change rapidly. Unfortunately, not for the better.
Re: Remember when...
Anybody remember the rumor that Axl & Ice-T were gonna collaborate on a remix of "Welcome To The Jungle", and if I remember correctly the WWE were gonna use it as a theme song for one of their PPV's.
The other one that was funny was Axl was supposed to be collaborating with Pink on a cover of Bonnie Tyler's "Total Eclipse of the Heart".
That one was actually cool because the 80's geek in me would've ate that up.
