Re: Album of the week club *read for info*
So is the Prince one once again the album of the week? Or are we doing something new? I've got another album fresh in my head right now, that deserves a re-spin by most.
Shit, I should've saved all that new Creed speech for this.

In case you guys are wondering. Most of those YouTube videos up there are completely defunct. Either copyright violations, blocked in the U.S., private videos, etc.
So, umm... false start again.
As for Prince, I listened to the couple of trx available, and Prince has always been one of those guys I have mad respect for his absolutely stunning skills as a performer, multi-talented, cool ass dude. Just oozes rock star. And I love the guy for it. But for whatever reason, and Bruce Sprinsteen is another... I just have never been able to sign up as a diehard fan. I can't listen to an album straight through for whatever reason. But when I hear isolated tracks, it's like "this kicks ass!", but then I move on, and can't really remember what I heard most of the time.
But what I heard above, once again was Prince doing what he does best, and also embracing more of his rock side, and less of his pop side, and that's always a good thing. I also like the blend back between mixing blues with jazz.
