Touche.
I do have on honest question though for those that follow Slash more closely than I do; when did he start doing pinch harmonics regularly? I fn love pinch harmonics and I'd never heard Slash work them in all that often, but he did it several times during both songs which leads me to believe he uses them regularly now.
As I remember, he did some on the ALG tour, but he's only been playing this much since his first solo album. I love pinch harmonics, too.
He's still far from Zakk Wylde, who cannot really play a note anymore without pinch harmonics.

They do occur on afd some, night train, but he does use them more now for sure. I think he didn't do a lot early cause it was cliche in the 80's, like you, I love them. Zakk is the master of the pinch harmonics. As is gibbons and John Sykes. D's boy richie sambora loves them too.

Yeah, right.
One of my favourite songs with Slash playing (some) pinch harmonics. Solo from 3:37

I watched it last night as well for the first time. Missed out on all the discussions concerning the HOF drama so had a clear head so to speak watching it. They played SCOM and PC. I don't like that singer at all but the band sounded great and hearing the songs how they're really supposed to sound actually surprised me. We've heard various scab lineups butcher the old songs over the years to the point where you forget how they really sounded.
I wish Izzy had been there but Gilby was fine. Other than the actual music, seeing Adler so happy was the highlight. He had been waiting for that moment for 22 years. Matt's comment about Adler being kicked out for drugs was uncalled for. It's the truth but the statement wasn't needed. I was hoping Slash or Duff would have stepped up and interrupted him mid sentence.

Fucking weird. I'm guessing those who saw the performance lucked out. my guess is it was supposed to be cut because not only did I not see a performance they played Velvet Revolver music when the band came up to accept their induction. I live in Canada so I don't know if that makes a difference and if so I'd have no idea why it would. Like Canada is banned from Guns N' Roses or something. Not likely. My guess is HBO Canada showed the "legal" telecast. Just a guess though.
It might just be your cable provider.
