Defintely. I'm not a big fan of the Stripes; but I do like it when artists really step out and to expand their music with different sounds in their solo careers. Similar to what Phil Collins did with some of his solo albums during the Genesis years and afterwards. There can be mixes of R&B, 80s Motown, synth experimental tracks, and rock songs with a great drum solo (In The Air Tonight).

That song is pretty awesome! I love the sound of it. It reminds me of early Zeppelin blue songs! big_smile It's got a great retro vibe to it with the distorted guitars and the backing singers that are supported with Jack's vocals.

Re: Jack White Discussion

That's great to hear. This year and last are having some amazing albums and refreshing rock sounds coming out of the works. It's good that artists try something new on a record and each song is something of a particular variety. cool

Re: Jack White Discussion

That's the thing I love about some records. As long as the fans hear about it and love the music it will sell without the influence of MTV or high youtube video counts.
