umm some don't get SARCASM, he knows he was getting ravaged lol but yes he is probably happy that ANYONE at this point has his back. Whether you like the Lebeis fam or not, they have his back/care for him personally and not just as some puppet to just go out and "tap dance/sing" whenever they want him to and shit and may always will have his back.

I kinda agree. Like I said in my earlier post, this 2nd letter is totally a piss take.
Axl's being totally sarcastic. He's playing up his legend.
Axl CANNOT be considered 'smart', unless that is what he is doing right now and just fucking with everyone intentionally, including his fans.
There is no possible way on God's green earth that Axl thinks he received "an overwhelming positive response" based on what he did.
He's either being a smart ass to the world, and is going into Batman "Supervillian" territory, and just playing it up, or...
If he truely believes that 2nd letter.... he's a fucking lunatic. Literally.

And no Russ I don't believe Axl gives a flying shit about the bands "not in".
That's an easy out for alot of people. If Axl truely believed that he would've voiced it earlier on, and he wouldn't dragged his former bandmates through the mud with the Hall.
It boils down to the band, and Axl's hand being forced. Nothing else.

Pretty normal procedure. The biased ones who were told there's no reunion, now need to show how the persons who weren't there, and especially one, wasn't needed after all.

Yep, I can honestly say I LOVED the 3 different versions of GNR I've seen in the past 10 years strictly because of A) Axl and B) the music. And I LOVED the performance on Saturday because of A) Slash, Duff, Steven, Matt, Gilby and B) the music. No offense to Myles, and the other members of GNR.
