I thought the same thing. Karma!
I thought it sounded a lot more like Led Zeppelin's Immigrant Song, maybe crossed with Locomotive

Re: Apocalyptic Love Song Samples
I liked what I heard of Far and Away and Not For Me, though. I'd like to hear the full tracks and I might buy them on iTunes.
Anastasia sounds like Randy Rhodes era Ozzy. Standing in the Sun sounds cool, except for Myles... Actually it sounded good with him until the end there. I'll give that one a try. But it does sound like Locomotive.
You're A Lie probaby sounds like the best of the bunch... And that's not a good thing for me. I'm sure Slash/Snakepit fans will love this, though. And that's all that matters. Just not my thing, not my type of music.
Re: Apocalyptic Love Song Samples
No word of a lie a lot of the music sounds cool but I'm sorry to say Myles voice drags it all down. He's boring, dime a dozen, uninspired and it ruins the whole vibe of these clips for me.
Shame. I thought this album would rock and now I'm thinking I'm not gonna like it at all because of Myles's generic voice.
