I think if they avoid the situation they are the two biggest pussies on the planet.
I agree.
If both sets of management have anything about them they won't let it get to a situation where Axl and Slash are face to face in front of the worlds media and no idea how the other will react.
From a fans point of view just the two of them meeting without external interference from mangers might be what they need. On the other hand knowing how potentially volatile it could be, maybe a pre organised 'handshake' is not such a bad idea.

Voted a handshake. It seems inevitable thay theyll come in contact with each other and they'll have to do something. A handshakes seems like the most likely gesture. No stories, maybe some quick small talk, pay their dues to the RRHOF and be on their way
Later on, reunion could happen but I don't see it happening at this point. Axl has obviously filled up his plate to avoid any reunion in the foreseeable future

I mean I am Robin fan and want thim back but this is a HOF issue not a bring back Robin dropped the douche Slash wannabe DJ thread.
I hope they perform and if they do they can keep the whole not talking to each other if they really are the two biggest douche bags and can't but their differences aside.
If they perform hopefully they don't do any two drummer shit, as that is the lamest uncool thing in Rock that can be done.
I am just more interested on who inducts them.
If that is such a secret, I think a surprise performance could be as well.

I'm convinced at this point, they'll both show up and completely ignore each other.
Slash will be all smiles and shaking hands, and Axl will sit over there and pout, maybe only saying something to Duff.
Even though I don't think Izzy would ever hold a reunion up, i'm still not sure if Izzy will even show. I think Izzy would only show if there was some guarantee of band solidarity. Considering the total lack of communication, and also taking that Izzy as supposedly RSVP'ed back, I still think if Izzy if Izzy thinks there's gonna be alot of tension, he'd just no show.
