They lost me as a fan on Slip of the Tongue. It was such a blatant ripoff of Led Zeppelin it was vomit inducing. Page and Plant should have sued them over Judgment Day. The album has a couple good tracks, but its shocking that The Deeper the Love is the best thing they could come up with while having Vai in the lineup.
Total waste of talent. I guess thats karma for Vai ditching Roth. Thought he was gonna have it made in the shade with Whitesnake.

Ahh ok. See i'm a recent convert. I didn't listen to any whitesnake back in the 80s, but recently i've been trying to take my guitar playing up a notch and have discovered they have killer solos and riffage (not surprising given the line ups they've had over the years)
Anyway...I guess cos of my recent conversion i'm kinda into the current line up with Doug Aldrich...he plays just like i do (only 100 million times better! LOL) a mix of shred and blues...so i'm interested to hear what this line up can deliver album wise!
