this is albums of the week...

sign up if u are interested. we will go in the order of sign up

each week.. someone suggests an album they think we should hear.

Now we don't have to go out and buy albums.. we can listen on Youtube or what have u

but i think it would be a great way to maybe discover some gems we previously may not have.

For instance: I had Pearl Jam Backspacer album for over a year.. only listened to "The End. Bored at work while driving, i put on entire album cause i got into Amongst the Waves... and holy fuck, i love every damn song on this album and listen constantly...
now it took me a couple times through to really hear it but now... great album where previously i dismissed it.

So maybe there are some other albums we need to check out...U guys think I haven't given Alice In Chains a fair shake?  Request that and I will listen for entire week and give honest opinion etc... same for everyone else.

If u don't want to post entire album... maybe 3 or 4 deep tracks on said album that people have never heard or paid attention to. For instance with Bon Jovi, I wouldn't have u listen to the mega hits.. I'd break out shit like "Open all night, Rightside of Wrong, Distance and Had me from Hello off Bounce etc.

Anyone interested in this??  end of the week.. we could submit some type of review etc

only one album at a time which is why I said, we will take turns based on order of sign up.  if someone new wants in.. they will go after last person etc etc..

I do agree Backspacer is a very solid album.  FINALLY you're giving Pearl Jam some love.  I lost interest with PJ in the late 90's, but Backspacer got me back into them.

If you want to take it one step further, go see them live.  They put on an awesome show.
