In light of me getting less than I had expected this month, pay wise. It looks like I will have to be waiting until the end of May to buy tickets... by which point they may all be gone. £50 is a LOT of money and more than I was expecting in all honesty. How they can charge that high a price for this incarnation of GN'R I don't know.

Recording isn't that expensive for a man with a studio in his basement that is a bullshit excuse.

If enough people will pay £50 to see them they'll charge it. Pretty full houses at the last two UK tours obviously indicated they could get away with the price increase.

Its not that expensive, its not even a tenner more than last time, 40-50 quid is average for a big rock show. I doubt it will sell out so you can save up for a ticket.

Guns N' Roses, one of the greatest rock bands of all time, return to the Manchester Arena this spring as part of their highly anticipated 'Night Train' UK tour.

Tickets for the Tuesday 29 May concert go on sale at 9.00am Friday 2 March.

The band's Manchester spring show coincides with Axl Rose and co's induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

In a career spanning more than two decades, Guns N' Roses have become one of the biggest bands not only in the world, but in rock 'n' roll history.

They have sold over 100 million albums worldwide and are considered one of the most influential rock bands the world has ever seen.
After rising to fame in the late 1980's and gaining worldwide recognition with their hit single Sweet Child of Mine, the band went on to release five albums including Use Your Illusion I and Use Your Illusion II, both albums making history by holding chart positions 1 and 2 on the Billboard charts in 2002.

VHI has also named Welcome to the Jungle 'Best Hard Rock Song' - a fitting accolade for such a rock anthem. Guns N' Roses' most recent release, and fifth studio album, Chinese Democracy went straight to the top of the charts in 13 countries, as well as going platinum in 15.

Like I said earlier, £40 would be fine. It's what bands like Maiden, Metallica and Priest have charged when they've played the UK over the past 2/3 years. I just don't understand how they can charge £50 for this incarnation of the band when the only person in it that most people will care about is Axl.

NOTE: I am not some Slash loving reunionist. I do really like the new band a lot. Just pointing out that I don't understand how £50 can be charged for this GN'R lineup. Well £50+Ticketmaster Fee+Postage...

it is too expense.

having said that i thought £50 was reasonable in comparison to other concerts when they played bfast last time.

£50 is p average for an arena production, no matter who you're getting there's a lotta work goes into it & people to get paid. it's fuckin ridiculous but that's the way of it these days sadly.

but compared to club gigs or theatre gigs, some which charge £20/25 even £30+ you do get the value for money difference w/GnR gigs. i gotta give them credit, they do put on a good show.
