I'm a big Slash fan and I gotta say, I'm not really digging it from that 20 seconds, but I'll wait to hear the whole thing.

I have no idea why people put out little snippets... just leak at least half or don't cause it gives an unfair presentation

I think the vocal is very strong and love the guitar lick he is playing before chorus.

I remember when something similar happened with Slither and people were mortified it was gonna be the first single. it came out and the rest is history.

Argueing over a 20 second clip is fucking stupid.

I'll say this. Yes it sounds modern rockish and it still sounds fairly aggressive to me. I can totally picture a killer guitar solo coming out of that chorus at some point. The vocals sound good enough to me(didn't pay much attention to the lyrics). In my opinion the clip does nothing to lessen my anticipation for this album. I'm not sure how some can write it off as "garbage modern rock", that's their choice though. Also I'm not sure how anyone could claim it to be amazing either. It's 20 fucking seconds.

One thing D "might" be right about though... if it was 20 seconds of a new GN'R song, we'd need a Wal-Mart bath section full of towels to clean up all the cum all over the place.

I don't doubt it for one second. It could eb the shittiest peice of music ever recorded and toss Axl's voice over it and people would find a million reasson to justify why it's amazing.

Yeah, that clip isn't anywhere near the brilliance of SCOM. To even mention them in the same breath is embarrassing. If Slash pulled off SCOM2, it would be a miracle seeing as he's not in his prime anymore and he doesn't have Duff, Izzy, and Steven creating an amazing rhythm section nor does he have a great vocalist belting out incredible melodies.

No doubt about it. The Axlites are every bit as delusional as the Slashites. Perhaps even more delusional when you factor in Axl's shitty treatment of his own fans over the years, but they keep coming back for more. Battered wife syndrome perhaps?

So true. Also in my opinion Sweet Caress is better than anything Axl or Slash has done post Illusions era Gn'R. As simple as it is I love the guitar solo in this song. Real, honest, genuine music. Nothing forced about it. No tailor made for radio rock no psuedo, forced epics. Just pure heart and soul.
