I don't think this will sell well. Axl really pissed people off in Dublin which is sad because there was great excitement around them playing here.

Today people are broke here and won't easily forget what happened the last time.
Ballsy move by Axl but I'll be surprised if it sells.

I'll be disappointed without new music, even a song or two, but will be there regardless.

I'm moving to Australia for a year in July, and already have to fork out for Noel Gallagher, The Civil Wars and Tom Petty before I go but I must admit I find this tempting..the opportunity to hear "Estranged" and "Civil War" live..everyone remembers what happened at the last Dublin gig, but the night before in Belfast they were fucking phenomenal.

Your leaving Norn Iron? tongue Good for you bro 22.

Some friends of friends attended the Ireland show. The story is Guns turned up 2hrs late, Axl is bad yada ect. Can't remember the time the forums where given, I know it wasn't a long wait compared to the normal delays anyway. Axl/Band have the right intentions of fixing it, just don't see them getting a fair shake though even if they did turn up on time.

Music culture/reputation for actual rock bands in UK/Ireland is just so influenced by the likes of NME/Kerrang that everything's labled before it happens good or bad, don't need to say what their marketing says about Guns.

My opinion is that most of the crowd are of child rearing years and won't shell out for babysitters and tickets again just to end up booing in the O2.

So, why going out again with yet another Chinese thing?

A) Axl have settled on this level and is fine with it
B) GNR need money for something

I've been asking myself that to.

Seems weird to be trying to get another 7000 people to fork out €70 a head to see almost the same as the last two gigs this version of the band played in Dublin. Its such a small city that I cannot imagine there are that many fans out there who didn't catch them the last two times around.

Maybe now its just a money mop up to try to get a push on CD II for Dec 2012...

the promoter obviously thinks it will sell or he wouldn't have booked the show. neutral

The promoter only thinks that because of the Guns N' Roses brand name.

Somedays I wonder if Axl is just running this thing into the ground, and then is just gonna go off into the sunset, thus the lack of interest of new music.

the promoter is in it to make money...if he thinks he can make a buck, he will sell the show. What is so complicated about that?
