Yep. It's one of the reasons why I fell so in love with the Foo Fighters when Wasting Light came out.
Plus I got so excited when he signed it "Stay Frosty" because he referenced about every type of music in the main letter, then drops an inside reference to a VH tune on their new album as a signature.

Always loved Foo Fighters, and it certainly helps that Dave Grohl is one cool down to earth motherfucker. Just makes me dig the band even more.

I liked that VH reference too.
