Out of the 3 80s mega pop stars, only one is alive(Madonna).

Any chance of suicide? A few weeks ago there were rumors she was broke & asking friends to borrow a few hundred bucks. Her reps denied it but this makes you wonder.

This could be a Kevin Dubrow situation where she had been clean for awhile, decides to use for old times sake, uses the amount she used to take when a daily user & it killed her. Not paying attention to your tolerance level is VERY dangerous.

That pic is frightening. Obviously on downers or a speedball and that other woman looks very concerned. I withdraw my Dubrow theory. She never stopped using.

Millionaires who manage to go bankrupt are interesting to me. I'm extremely careful with my money (on a pretty average salary, mind you). It's amazing to me that people can find a way to go through that kind of money so quickly.

"I Will Always Love You" is 69 cents on iTunes. That thing is going to sell like gangbusters over the coming days and weeks.

It doesn't matter how much money you have.

When you have money to burn, crack might be cheap (to quote Whitney), but you have the ability to have a $400,000 crack party blowout for one night alone.

When you pick up a drug habit, and basically have a bottomless pit of money... destruction is not far behind.

I, unlike Lofton, do not believe Bobby Brown turned Whitney into a drug fiend. I think Whitney had already been there and came from that background, based on her friendship choices pre-Brown. Not to mention, she already looked batshit insane before drugs. She did not come across as a stable young girl, even though she was mega hot and mega talented back in the mid-80's (her prime imo).

Whitney never ever came across to me, even in her interviews, that she had stopped using. She was either 'maintaining', high, or fucking crazy, or a combination. She still was REAL strange. She also seemed very distant with her daughter, which shows a bad bad history too.

If Whitney had finally gone broke on her drug habit, and basically was begging for a couple hundred bucks to score, even at her talent, that's gotta be humiliating. OD'ing, or suicide would not be shocking at all.

Then again she could be totally clean. Look at Corey Haim. All those years abusing, leaves your body so weakened that pneumonia kills you within a matter of hours almost.

Anyways, I was never a massive fan of Whitney. Her personality was weird, although she was one of the major black beauties for a period of time back in the day.

I just think it's a waste. She was so beautiful, so talented, so much priveledge... gone. Even if she died of natural causes, SHE WASTED the last 17-18 years of her life. WASTED it.

RIP girl
