The thing that fell from the sky is actually a satellite that is supposed to have awakened the monster.

I thought this movie was fucking awesome!!  I watched it last night.   I thought the beginning was slow but not terrible, you have to have a build up of some sorts, but after that it was non stop action.   5

I also missed the end credits as well, I tried to view this video here but it's no longer available I'll have to look it up later.

I am really pleased by this film, very realistic and showed you just enough of the monster to make you crave to see it more.

I really hope the sequel is the backstory and what happened after the nuclear explosion, they will ruin it if they do the same exact POV film as this one was.
