i havent even gotten thru the first disk yet...didnt really notice much but at the same time i wasnt hardly intent on listening to it when i went through the orig album portion

i guess it is remixed and remastered i'll have to give a closer listen during hte week and report back smile

i only got he 2 disk version i guess there was a much larger release as well with a bluray disk...i was totally oblivious to the reissue as well monkey

I like Nirvana, Nevermind is one of my favourite albums. But for a band that is supposed to have had such a big musical impact as they supposedly keep saying (particularly Nevermind), for this to come out and no-one even knows about it... what does that tell you?

This was my problem with Pearl Jam's "Ten: Deluxe Re-issue"

Supposedly Brenden O'Brien remixed the original album for Disc 1 to have a "simpler" sound.

I have listened to alot of music, alot of raw album tracks, DAT masters, and remixed music myself...

I CAN NOT tell the damn difference between the remixed Disc 1 of Ten, and original album version on Disc 2.

I wonder if this Nevermind reissue is the same deal.

Oh damn, that sucks.

I don't know what shit for brains mixers exist these days that way fuckin' over-amplify the mixes, so much that when they play back on almost every device, including car stereos, are basically just distorted noise.

well i only have the 2 disk version so it doesnt have the remixed album on it

disk one is the orig album and bsides (including a couple off incesticide) pretty cool to have it all...and in one easy place

disk 2 is alt takes, scratch takes and rehearsals for the studio...some of it is really cool, Kurt is playing around with alt lyrics (or no lyrics) and alt guitar sounds ....not all of the songs are properly arranged....anyway kinda cool...but some of it is pretty bad recordings...like a portion of it is called "Boom Box Recordings" cuz i think they were recorded on well a boom box

and there is some alt artwork in the packaging, still decent value...my orig copy of nevermind (which is 20 years old itself 16 ) is done so i bought this to replace that and got a bunch of extras to boot...im pretty happy with it
