Re: Libertad vs. Chinese Democracy, Round IV
Tough. IRS's riff is great and BH's solos is awesome. Lyric sucks, Robin sucks and that horrible intro guitar theme sucks, which comes back half a dozen times.
On the other hand For a Brother doesn't even have a solo, but I like the vibe of the song. I need a few listens to decide.

For A Brother, what an uninspired, dull song.
IRS, what an uninspired, dull song.
But IRS contains an awesome Axl scream and an awesome Bucket solo, so it wins
Re: Libertad vs. Chinese Democracy, Round IV
I've always thought IRS sucked and the production whether it's the demo or album version sucks. I've never liked any of the guitar work in it and a lot of it sounds cheesy to me. Especially the intro which like Mikkamakka pointed out repeats throughout the song. Also Axl's voice once again on a CD song is annoying, The scream si cool but that's it. Overall it's just a flat song masqerading as a ballsy rocker in my opinion. For these reasons I'm voting it off. For A bother isn't that great either but at least I don't get annoyed by it when I hear it.

Haven't listened for a while, but For A Brother is surprisingly good.
So goodbye IRS.

American Man destroys CD's riffs combined. I don't know what you are talking about, but you surely have serious bias. Well, nothing new.
