it's defo part of the alien story.
the ship & how the title comes in are two direct links i saw from the trailer.
looks good. tho ridley scott has been on a run of p cack films last while so a little worried..

Scott has said it will not be another Alien movie, but is rumoured to be set in the same universe.
There is a ship in the trailer that is exactly like the ship from Alien, also @0.40 you can see the cockpit rising from the floor that is the exact same as the one that held the fan favourite "Space Jockey" alien in the first movie too.
I think Scott has been lying about it not being another Alien film, and if it's not, it will definitely have very close ties to the franchise judging from that trailer.
Cannot wait to see a living space jockey in this movie and get some more background on them.

Scott's just throwing people off.
This is obviously Alien 5. It's just a prequel to the original.
Remember Scott also swore up and down that he wasn't directing the Alien prequel, he was just producing... and then you get this.
It's all been a bluff.
