I agree with the general consensus. This is probably the coolest, "forward thinking" (Russ) thing that GN'R has ever done since the inception of the new band imo.
This was a GREAT idea. How very "Pearl Jam" of them to think of this.
Would be very fucking cool if they started offering CD-quality audio of live shows for like $5 bucks on iTunes the next day or two after a show.

That hit me last night, which got me so stoked.
This is in fact the first GN'R PPV since Paris '92. And the fact that GN'R are being so cutting-edge about it.
Like I said, what you're getting tonight is the future.
I'm very proud of GN'R right now, because this is the first time in years they have been IN FRONT of the curve, not way way way behind.
And like I said, The Joint show in Vegas on Dec. 30th is also gonna be another PPV.

Awesome, is there a way I can put it onto a DVD? I like to get pissed up and throw concert DVDs on the projector and the old UYI DVDs are getting stale. I have a converter that will put AVI to proper DVD, but how would I get it off of Youtube?
