Civil War..... He recorded all the guitars. Duff and Axl did the lyrics. But I think it's a Slash baby musically for the most part.

other than civil war, all i hear is riffs and solos. you can write like that too but in gnr he was rarely the initial songwriter.

for the most part, yes. it's a great song too. i still wouldnt say he wrote the song but that he co-wrote the song.
he definitely took the lead on this song and deserves credit for that.
gotta be the closest hes been to writing a good song from scratch for gnr.
