I got the same feeling.
I forgot to mention, Eddie said that Slash asked him to be a guest of his at the induction ceremony. So Slash isn't sure if he's going to attend, but he's already planning out who he's inviting as guests? Sure.

Fuck it- they should each name a "second", and send them to perform in their stead. They can each wear nametags or little hats or something so everyone knows who they're supposed to be. YEAH, I been drinking, so what!

I was going to mention this earlier and forgot.
Slash is playing it all cool like he hasn't waited for this moment his whole life.
I wouldn't be shocked if his by the time we're done with this Paul Stanley isn't sitting over there with Slash as a "special guest of the band".
