Re: Guns N Roses OFFICIALLY inducted into Rock n Roll Hall of Fame
Yeah, a friend asked me if I'd sell them for $3000. I said maybe, but not for $300.
But I agree with you. I'm not looking to sell the tickets. I fully look forward to the experience, whatever might happen. Like you said, it's a once in a lifetime thing and I can't wait to see what unfolds.
Re: Guns N Roses OFFICIALLY inducted into Rock n Roll Hall of Fame
I am going too. I got tickets yesterday in Sec. 49, Row B. Should be a great time! I've never seen the Chili Peppers live and Adler is the only guy I haven't seen play live from AFD so whatever happens, happens and I'm cool with it.
Re: Guns N Roses OFFICIALLY inducted into Rock n Roll Hall of Fame
Was thinking outside GNR today.. what about Chili Peppers? Should Josh Klinghoffer get in??? Dave Navarro?
In Daves case, alot RHCP fans think he should from their forums. He was on a popular album and several tours for 5 years.
Not the same thing as 1 song.
Re: Guns N Roses OFFICIALLY inducted into Rock n Roll Hall of Fame
Josh... hell no! he's been in the band for what? 5 minutes
As for Navarro, I'd say yes. I'm not even really a casual RHCP fan yet I totally remember him being in the band. When I think of RHCP I think of the obvious four and then Dave. He's like the Matt Sorum of RHCP in my opinion.
the RHCP are a lot like Gn'R in that they've had at least a dozen members in the band I think. I'm not sure exactly how many I just know it's been quite a lot. I also know that Chad and John weren't in the band for the first few albums so.... I don't know the names but they had an original drummer and guitar player and for a while was like a revolving door of muscians.
I don't know enough about them really but based on my average joe opinion I'd say Chad, Flea, Anthony, John and Dave but maybe hardcore RHCP fans would think I'm nuts I don't know. I don't know any of their pre Mother's Milk stuff so... and to be honest if it wasn't for the Blood Sugar Sex Magic lineup they woudn't be gettng inducted.

If someone gave you tickets to Ritz '88 or Rock In Rio II, would you just sell them and skip the show?
That's how BIG this COULD be.
I've said it over and over, and i'll keep saying it... this is GNR's "last moment" as a band.
This is it. Even if they were to reunite, full-bore at the show, the newness of a reunited GN'R will wear off eventually. This is the last time the spotlight will be solely on them.
It's up to them (Axl) what they want to do with it. If they want to look like an ass for the rest of their life or even they want people to look back and say "that's where they righted the wrongs of rock history".
And YOU will be there. This is a MOMENT in the GN'R Legacy.
Don't devalue over fucking DOLLARS; easy come, easy go
