This is a toughy for me...I actually really enjoy both these songs.

I'm not the biggest fan of libertad but just 16 is one of my 3 favs or so on the album...Riad..is also a cool song though...love the lyrics.

Going to fall back on my itunes count. Seems i've played Just 16 118 times since the last install on the computer, and Riad only 85....lol....so I'll have to bounce off that one...but it's with regret!

I'm stunned to hear you say that.

What about Contraband. Is CD better than CB?

Contraband has some great songs...slash is way too minimal in the whole thing though.

Yeah, I think CD is better than both VR albums. Not better than those combined though. Anyway, Rhiad is so weak, it has to go.

I was deffintely a "Contraband" fan for a while when it came out, but I never got the love for "Libertad". Stuff like "Just Sixteen" is medicore to me, only like stuff like "The Last Fight" on it.

I think "Riad" destroys it through the guitars, drums, bass and vocals. Not a brilliant track, but a musician track, custom built for something like "Rock Band".

Riad, in my opinion, is miles better than 16. I too, loved Contraband and still play it a lot. But I just could never get into Libertad.

Hadn't heard Just Sixteen in quite awhile so I had to listen again.  Is it just me or is that the LONGEST 4 minute song in the history of music?  It seemed to go on forever.  Wasn't bad, but I prefer Riad.

I thought Libertad was a decent album with some good songs on it, just a huge step down from Contraband.  And to be honest I recently listened to Contraband and it wasn't as great as I remembered it to be, at least not all the way through.  Quite a few tracks I felt I could've easily skipped through.  Though it still had a fair amount of killer tunes that I thoroughly enjoy.  Beginning and end are stellar, the middle kind of drags a bit for me.
