I would ahve to agree that Axl is the world's last active great rock frontman both in terms of talent and attitude (whether its desirable or not) yes bono is great at what he does but he is not cut from the same cloth as some of those other guys U2 is more of a not so much of a rock act IMO...as passe as it may seem U2 is more of the consumate Alternative Rock act. Bono isnt as polarizing figure as Axl....Axl does waht he does and bedamned the consequences...bono seems to calculate his moves and keeps a posiitive public perception about him and the band, its not the same reckless abandon that rock bands generally display...its definately a more practical attitude to have though
