Wow, that pretty much confirms what everyone had said all these years about Richard was supposed to play lead guitar. Makes me wonder even more with those Izzy appearences in 2006 if Richard was supposed to be bumped to lead, and Izzy come back on rhythm, but that fell through and Axl opted for Ron. We do know that Axl was actively trying to get Izzy back as early as 2001.

Obviously i'm glad Axl did what he did bringing Bucket in the fold, but at the same time, imagine a Guns N' Roses in 2001 with Robin & Richard up front. Those two seemed to actually like each other, and play off each other well, especially in their dueling solos in 2006.

You might've seen that 2001-02 having the same band chemistry as the band you have today. It was obvious Robin couldn't stand Bucket.
