Buckethead is better than Slash. I've seen both and Slash is a fantastic guitarist... Buckethead annihilates him.
In pure chops and speed I won't argue with that...but then there's a Chemical X factor about Slash...it's not so much that what he does is hard as it's what he does is *right* for the song...and he's just so damn charasmatic in person. Born to be a rock star.
I dunno...I love them both in different ways...so it's not about who's better to me.... Creatively it's like the difference between a fork and a spoon too.
They're both awesome at the particular task they do.
You know Zakk is on "Merry Axemas, Vol. 2," right? He does "White Christmas." Very nice.

Buckethead is not that type of performer.
That's like saying, "you know that guy I saw in the club the other night? He's amazingly talented, maybe one of the best i've ever seen as a musician, but he's not as good as Slash, because Slash is more well-known"

thats right slash more wellknown because he is better if slash was shit he wouldnt be well known he has made killer riffs and melodores i agree hes not as quick speed isnt ever think its slashs style but head is boring to watch just stands there with a kfc bucket on this head

No need to measure them up guys.
Slash doesn't play like bucket does and so would never write soothsayer.
Bucklet doesn't play like slash does and would never write Jungle.
Two great players with very different outlooks to the same great instrument.
It's lucky there's allowed to be more than one guitarist in the world!
